cookiepuss occassion
I just found out that the British call cupcakes fairy cakes. I find the name vaguely disturbing. I can only hope that the name derives from the fact that cupcakes are usually whimsical and decorated in nice, bright colors. That's certainly better than the idea they're only made by or out of fairies.

their cupcakes are usually a bit smaller than american ones, and decorated with colourful icing and sprinkles. they also taste disgusting.

for all i've heard about the british having massive sweet teeth, they seriously don't know how to make nice tasting cookies/cakes/cupcakes. everything is really dry. i'm very disappointed.

I can understand about the cookies being dry since (If I remember correctly) they call them biscuits, but I'm surprised about the rest.

Those, surprisingly, don't look all that appealing. Coming from me, that's saying something. It doesn't help that it looks like someone lost an earring on one of them. I like big soppy icing. Those look like hard little disks.

The chinese don't do desserts very well either. Most of their efforts revolve around bean paste. Red bean paste, green bean paste, etc. It's just odd when you're used to the sugar bomb of american offerings.

Well, most countries that aren't american don't believe in overloading yourself with sugar. So they don't pile on the frosting. (I'm a frosting addict myself.) LOL!

Mmmmm.... sugar.

Lithuanians make good desserts.
And the food is really fattening too.

I love traditional Lithuanian cooking.

they really arent that appealing. they are sparkley and all, but that means nothing when i know that they are actually dry, tasteless and the icing tastes like soap because it's just icing sugar and water and food colouring. i'm a fan of butter cream icing myself.

i like bean paste! a japanese exchange student gave me this weird bean paste stick for dessert once. i don't think i would trade a piece of black forest cake for a bean paste stick, but it was still tasty.

Hmm... better not tell Joyus... you might scare her (even though she claims to be a pixie instead).

I sometimes think we should all chip in and pay for a psychologist just to make sure she doesn't really think she is a pixie. You never know.

Then you'd have to get one for her tavern crew too - many of them think they are real pirates (oops... I mean pYrates).

And before you get started... I don't really think I'm a Drow. I just like the convenient excuse to be mean to people. haw haw.
