Canadians = Lame

I was channel flipping and on one of the ESPN's there's the world championship of curling with canada playing scottland. There was some sort of twisted interest as I watched on and saw the packed stadium of canadians cheering and roaring like these people were rockstars instead of morons playing shuffleboard on ice with brooms. Is there really that little to do in canada that you can actually sell out a stadium to people who want to watch professional curling? You couldn't give away those kinda tickets here in the states. You'd have to pay people to attend and even then, they'd likely think that you ripped them off in the deal by the end of the match.
