Got back from D&D at the bills, took a shower, and here I am. I feel like I'm about to fall over dead and so I won't make this very long. I'm hoping that the exhaustion will actually translate into a good night's sleep, something I haven't had for around a week now. It's really starting to wear on me and if it goes on much longer I might just have to pop a couple percs to zonk myself out for a while. I've been running on empty for days and yet I can't seem to fall asleep nights no matter how tired I am. Sleep, when it comes, is seldom very restful and comes nowhere close to the amount I need in duration.
Quick summary of the D&D game: We finished Chapter 4 of the Shackled City Adventure Series. THe final battle ended up being a real ballbuster with a black dragon that ended up being quite unpleasant. Still, considering that no one died, and no permanant damage was done, I'm more than willing to chalk that up as a good victory. We're a couple thou past 8th level at the moment and from what I'm told, Chapter 5 will start immediately as soon as we get back to Cauldron (the city the adventures are based out of). My character is doing pretty spiffy at the moment, and will be a real monster when he hits next level. 5d6 ranged touch attack at will each round with a 3d6 sneak attack bonus. I should also make the transition to Dragonborn as a race and pick up my first Lesser Invocation by then.
