The Shield!

WooT! The Season Finale is in 45 minutes or so and it's going to kick ass. 90-minutes chock full of dramatic goodness with Vic Mackey kicking ass. I swear, this show has me wistfully wondering why more of our police can't be dirty like the strike team. They seem to be so much more effective that way and if they score a few kickbacks on the side, hell, it's like a bonus for a job well done as far as I'm concerned. After all, none of us really wants to see how the sausage is made, right? What we want is being able to walk down the street without getting mugged or having crackheads break into our cars looking for loose change. In exchange for that, I'm pretty sanguine about some murderer getting whacked about with a phonebook.



Alrighty, the finale was more than a bit disapointing. I was expecting...well, more. The ending was fairly transparent and I didn't get any of the real fireworks I was hoping to see.
