Busy busy busy

It's going to be a packed week coming up. I'll try to finish up the origins rewrite before dexcon starts on wednesday but it's iffy. Frankly, I'm a little discouraged about the whole process given that I've only gone through around 50% of the pictures. Saturday's summary entry is going to be huge.

Anyway, tommorrow is pre-dex where the staff and GMs gather before the con to do tedious crap like count the pieces in board games and bitch about schedules. That should be a laugh riot I'm sure. Also tommorrow is gameday at the Panera and I'm scheduled to introduce and run Knight of Charlemagne among other things. Then sunday is DnD day, tuesday there's a boardgame meetup, and then dexcon starts wednesday and runs till sunday.

In between all that I have to square things away for the cardboard cutout so it'll be all set to go in a few weeks and that means getting the picture and money together.

On a sidenote, one reason I'm up is I woke up to see a gigantic bug on the windowshade. I thought I was hallucinating for a moment because it tooked humungous with eyes bleary from sleep. I managed to claw my way to full consciousness only to find that it is huge, but luckily not dangerous in any manner. Thoughts of gigantic spiders and the like were running through my head. Blasted bugs keep coming through the airconditioner vents but usually it's moths and crap. This is the first time I've had a grasshopper come through though I can't imagine how else it managed to get inside. Here are a couple of pictures.

Here he is by a few dice for size comparrison. Big, ain't he?

I figure if he's still alive in the morning I'll drop him off outside.

Anyway, back to bed.
