Officially Old

I just got an email from the former president of my high school class. Yep, apparently it's time for that much lampooned 10 year high school reunion. Will it be one giant cliche to see how the nerds made good, everyone got fat (of course, I had a head start on this one), the football players work at dead-end jobs and we're all older and so far from where we were. Blech. When I left highschool, I was practically the only person among my friends who said that they wanted to go to the 10 year anniversary. I thought it would be spiffy to see everyone again, to reforge old bonds and recapture some little bit of what we had. Now I fear it'll just be one of those parodies of high school reunions we see on sitcoms and in movies. Feh...
