Anyway, the trip was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. There were some rough spots here and there, most notably due to the physical exertion and the ridiculous temperature/humidity, but I rallied much better than I could have expected. Hell, I'm practically a vegetable most days out of the year. Sometimes I think I should just be shocked that my limbs haven't fallen off, much less still managing to work when I need them to. It would have been a far more enjoyable experience if it were 20 degrees cooler, just like it would have been better if I had a personal segway, but you make do with what you have. At least the trip didn't take place in the dead of summer, which would have been truly unbearable.
As you might imagine, I've got pictures galore and even a few videos to boot. I always have the best of intentions to resize/edit/upload and then caption them all, but my followthrough has been lacking in recent years. I'll try to get at least some of it up with a recap before the next ice age however.
