Versus the happiest place on earth

Well, I'm back from my trip to Disney World. I arrived home absolutely exhausted and spent at least 20 hours of the last day and a half sleeping. I've noted it for a while, but I just don't recover as quickly from these sort of excursions anymore. The sad part is that I probably didn't get much less than 7-8 hours of sleep most nights during the trip. It's certainly a far cry from those days where I could run through a 5-day convention with less than 3 hours per and still manage to drag myself about.

Anyway, the trip was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. There were some rough spots here and there, most notably due to the physical exertion and the ridiculous temperature/humidity, but I rallied much better than I could have expected. Hell, I'm practically a vegetable most days out of the year. Sometimes I think I should just be shocked that my limbs haven't fallen off, much less still managing to work when I need them to. It would have been a far more enjoyable experience if it were 20 degrees cooler, just like it would have been better if I had a personal segway, but you make do with what you have. At least the trip didn't take place in the dead of summer, which would have been truly unbearable.

As you might imagine, I've got pictures galore and even a few videos to boot. I always have the best of intentions to resize/edit/upload and then caption them all, but my followthrough has been lacking in recent years. I'll try to get at least some of it up with a recap before the next ice age however.
